UPCOMING FIELD TRIPS

ASSINIBOINE PARK FIELD TRIP:

Assiniboine Park Photographic Scavenger Hunt

Friday, June 17th with Monday the 20th as a rain date.

Meet at 10:30AM by  the English Gardens entrance.

Holding this event on a weekday hopefully will mean fewer crowds that will interfere with our shooting. The  trip will include the English Gardens, the Leo Mol area, the Duck Pond and the new Leaf Gardens.

Please RSVP to Bert S. at:                          concoursewpg@hotmail.com

Meet at the main entrance to the English Gardens at 10:30 a.m. and we will shoot in the Gardens and the Leo Mol area until 12:00. Following this we will cross the road for a look-see at the Duck Pond and then hike (or drive if you prefer) to the Leaf Parking lot off the Corydon and Shaftesbury entrance to the park.. (Click here to see the park map)

We hope to have a "scavenger hunt" list prepared. This list will include items of interest .My goal is not for you just to locate and shoot these items, but more importantly to make your images unique and interesting. Of course, we  hope you will also be shooting other images as well. There are many great possible images in the park.

Submit no more than 10 of your images (max size 2MB) to Mary Lou M. by email to:  marylou@mymts.net

The images you submit will be compiled and shown at a Members' Night in the fall.
